Size of babies: Baby boy is 3 pounds 14 oz, baby girl is 4 lbs 1 oz. Which is more than Logan weighed at birth, and 3 oz away from Oliver... and I still have at least a month. I don't want to imagine the size of my belly!
Total weight gain: Up a pound from last appointment. Still just not much of an appetite. I'm happy if I eat two small meals a day.
Maternity clothes: I only have one shirt that's not maternity, (Chris' X-Men shirt, so Logan approves), that doesn't do that annoying hang-off-the-front-of-my-belly thing. Even some of my maternity shirts are getting tight across my belly. They'd better stretch, because I'm not buying anymore!
Movement: Oh yes. Baby boy always starts it, and will kick and hit his sister for awhile, then, BAM!, she's had enough and kicks him hard. I've been trying to get a video for IPs daughter, but it's hard to get a good view from my angle, and they usually don't start up again til Chris is already asleep at night
Sleep: Still not great. Now, it's more that I can't go back to sleep if something wakes me up. And, I wake up soooooo sore. Which is new. With the boys, my back would hurt by the afternoon, but with the twins I roll out of bed, (literally, roll!), and instantly feel it. Not fun.
What I miss: Not having the back pain. It has held off a lot longer than with my boys, but it's started in full force. So, if anyone wants to send a massage my way :) And, I got my first craving for a lemon drop martini. Mmmmm.... Chris has his first post-birth job of sneaking one into the hospital.
Cravings: Not really anything. Food in general is just blah right now.
Symptoms: Just being ginormous. And feeling lots of contractions. Every now and then I'll get a few strong ones that come right after another, but mostly they're sporadic. Which, I'm ok with. Don't want another trip to the hospital!
Best moment: Being told NO BED REST!!! Yet. My sono tech saved me. She's been great during the entire pregnancy and rechecked my cervix 3 times from different angles til she got a long enough measurement. She said it was only buying me a week or two, but anything is better!!! I'm not even slightly annoyed that all my obsessive planning wasn't needed yet!
Earned my first tiger stripes with these little ones.
